Chip is a chipmunk, the informal leader of the Rescue team. He is wearing a brown felt hat and a flight jacket of the same color with a fur collar. The most responsible and reasonable of the Rescue team, who considers it his duty to help anyone in trouble. In his free time, he enjoys reading various detective stories, in particular, works about detective Sherlock Jones (a parody of Sherlock Holmes and Indiana Jones).
